Layli Ostovar: A Volleyball Prodigy’s Inspiring Journey Beyond Clubfoot

Layli Ostovar, a standout volleyball player from Mater Dei High School in Orange County, has shown exceptional skill and determination on the court. Born with bilateral clubfoot, Layli's early medical challenges never deterred her spirit or her athletic potential. She began walking at a normal age and took to volleyball, inspired by her twin sisters. Overcoming her condition, Layli excelled not only in indoor volleyball but also on the beach, enhancing her versatility and mastery of the game. Committed to play for USC, she volunteers with Hope Walks, a charity aiding children with similar conditions in Africa. Layli has already earned a national title and aims for a future in professional volleyball and possibly the Olympics.
