Alyssa and Giselle Thompson: Journey to Global Soccer Phenom

Alyssa Thompson's story begins with her early success in high school, where she was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2021 as a sophomore. At Harvard Westlake High School in California, she scored 48 goals in just two seasons. Alyssa and her sister Giselle trained together from a young age, playing on boys' teams to enhance their skills, which helped them outpace their peers. Alyssa's commitment extended beyond the field; she also contributed to local food charity initiatives. Now advancing her career internationally, Alyssa plays for Chelsea in the WSL and aims to represent the United States at the World Cup in 2027.
